In 2013 BEYOND is offering a diverse mix of science, technology and art. Besides the art show "Made in Karlsruhe", which is giving local talents a platform, 3D pioneers from Singapore will show their latest creations and Peter Weibel will perform his new 3D opera.
The filmfestival presents innovative documentary and fictional time-and-space narrations, which create adequate content for the new possibilities of technology.
The film programm will be changed and extended right up until the festival.
In collaboration with the KMK GmbH, BEYOND combines art, industry and consumer products with Expanded 3Dimensional Realities. The 3D-EXPO, from the 4th till the 5th of October 2013, presents state-of-the-art 3D equipment for professionals and consumers as part of the event.
In 2013 BEYOND presents the second international 3D symposium for experts in collaboration with the EU project "Parallax". A variety of topics will be discussed, among them the "Third Industrial Revolution" and digital distribution, as well as art and education.
